A review into the nutritional and biological value of Lupins in Aquaculture

This report, conducted by Dr. Glencross in 2001, studied the nutritional value of lupins in aquaculture feed.

The results shown that dehulled Lupin, not only has higher protein content but also has significantly superior digestibility than any other wholemeal grain. In conjunction with being a GMO-free plants, environmentally sustainable and renewable feed resource, dehulled lupin meal for fish diet has potential to become an alternative feed meal for aquaculture beside traditional soy meals.
